I haven't been logging in recently... I went out of town to visit family in St. Louis. And while I didn't eat poorly, I drank quite a bit with my friends! I also skipped the gym for a WHOLE WEEK. I felt totally gross.
Since I got back from St. Louis I have been a lot more diligent on getting to the gym and talking walks. I also don't know if I am ready to weigh in b/c I feel like I have either gained or have no change... although I should just get it over with and see whats going on.
Anyway, I never like to feel as though I have fallen off the wagon completely. I look at it more like I started rolling off the wagon and caught myself before it got bad!
so maybe I will go upstairs, weigh in and deal with it.

So I don't have a digital scale, I forget why, probably because they were a lot more expensive than the old school ones. So anyway, a change in weight has to be noticeable on those types of scales since I can't see tenths of pounds or anything. Getting to 149, a solid 149 feels great! I have been working out moderately... I have been sick so I didn't do Spinning on Tuesday, just today. And yesterday I went for a quick mile and a half run. And I think I have been eating well. Honestly, I am not quite ready to start tracking points and whatnot because it tends to overwhlem me and make me feel like I am eating a whole crap load of food, when in reality, it is just a normal meal that is not that bad. OK so YAY a pound down. I am happy today.

So today I am not well. Literally sick. I went back to visit my college this past weekend and probably had a little too much fun. Anyway, my immune system is repairing itself and I have developed a bit of a cold-flu.
Today has not been too bad. I had some Quaker hot cereal, a grilled cheese and a package of steamed veggies from Green Giant... a few cups of tea and some Kombucha. I love this Kombucha stuff. It really does make me feel like I am cleansing my system.
Anyway, I decided I am not going to weigh-in until I feel better and like I am back into my routine. Hopefully i'll be back to the gym by Thursday!

I am a little nervous about starting this diet again... I did WW a few months ago, and was really frustrated because I would go down like 0.6, but then go up 1.5 (for example), and I just lost it. I cried after one of the meetings because I was working out so much and was trying to eat healthy and it did not even pay off by a fraction of a pound.
Also, I work late nights cocktailing, and I am a little worried about my eating schedule. I am going to try hard this time because I am not where I want to be and its driving me crazy!
Well, I guess that's all for now, I just need to stay focused.
