Having visitors - my grandson and various other mishaps lol I have not lost, but gained 1.5 kg. I has taken me 2 weeks since then to get back to my previous waist measurement and weight. Glad to be back on track. Hmph Just weighed again without clothes and I am actually down 0.5 to 121kg... I will weigh again tomorrow. I forgot that I have been weighing naked lol.

It is the middle of our winter, and even tho I have snacked on avo, biltong and had some awesome beef and veg soup, it did not cut it. I had missed breakfast due to an appointment. I got HUNGRY. It was such a big problem that I could not sleep so I eventually made myself some flax seed pancakes and added (sorry) a tablespoon of flour to the mix. Then recipe was so gooey without the flour that they would not cook properly. Then - big sin - I sprinkled some lemon juice and a small dash of sugar over. ( I am out of xylitol and cannot afford more) After my small splurge, I slept well. This morning - surprise surprise - the blood sugar was actually down. by 1 point. Back to an awesome brekkie every day. I learned my lesson.

Spent another day at SARS. Brekkie was a half avo. I thought I might buy something but was not able to find the time, so waited till 15h30 to have a cheese sandwich on coarse dark health bread. Supper was veggie mix with mince. Mouth feels different so assume that the bread has affected me. Maybe a touch of candida. Oh yes, had a piece of spanspek too after supper. Was not super sweet but maybe a bit much considering the bread. Oh dear.

Even though there have been glitches and losses are a bit slow, I am happy at the way things are progressing. This is a far cry from the binge carb eating of my past. I am conscious of what I am eating. Last night was a delicious potato free beef and veg soup. I had 2 slices of a very high fibre low GI bread with it, because I have not yet been able to get a proper Banting bread. Maybe if I had weighed before breakfast losses would have been better. Waistline has gone down another cm. BS was 9.2 after breakfast. A little bit high... Waist 133 and weight 122.5
