Good morning out there!
I really stayed focused yesterday! Go me! I even worked out after work like I had planned. But dang was I exhausted after. Its been pretty hot here, and getting in and out of my vehicle for work (I do home care and go from client to client)eats up energy. Today will be no better as I have at least 2 bathes that will be in the middle of the afternoon. Talk about steamy! But someone has to help keep seniors clean! LOL I love my job.
Again today I am work at staying away from the breads and what I call "high carbs" and really focus on veggies, protein and fruit. I hope you all have a wonderful day!!

Good Morning Everyone!
Today is new day. Here the sun is shining and I know its gonna be a good day. I think today is gonna be a very veggie/protein based day. And the plan is to stay around 1200 cals today. The past few days has been about 1500-1600 cals and I know that I need to do a calorie drop for a couple of days to the body guessing. Plus this weekend I am going to be at 2 birthday parties. My grandma's 90th and my son's 18.
I will head off to the gym at some point to. Maybe after work. That way I have it out of the way and can spend the rest of my evening doing things I want to do. The only "BOOOOO" factor I have had with all of this, I am not sleeping through the night. I still wake up. It's probably menopause related... Oh well, I will push on.
Anyways I hope you all have a wonderful day and achieve whatever you dream!

Today is a big day in my house! My youngest boy has graduated from high school. I am over the moon proud of him. He had graduated on the honour role. Tonight we have is grad banquet so I am gonna do my very best to keep the meal light. I don't know if it's a buffet or served meal. But I have a plan. If its a buffet I a going to stick to the veggies and find a lean protein. If its a served meal I am gonna eat slow and push the plate back so I don't eat passed that full feeling. I did that today when we stopped for lunch. We went to five guys and yes I had take out. I recorded what I ate. I was really happy that I started out sharing fries with my spouse, but I only ate 1/2 of my share and was able to push the rest away. I didn't feel deprived after. I got some and said no more to the rest! Go me! That's something I am trying out. Cuz I am not going to fool anyone. I do try to eat right, but I do like to eat the junk. I have to learn to don't go crazy and step back from over, over-indulging. So far its working. And I am staying true to myself by being accountable with my food journaling. So I don't feel like I tossed my diet out the window. Yes the lunch was more calories than normal, but sometimes it's unavoidable. So cheers to me and all of you today!

Good morning all. I was really happy with yesterday and staying on track. I felt very in control of my eating. Even though I felt frustrated about going to the gym yesterday, I am more motivated to go today. I guess I need to reset my mind about it and make it a habit. I had a good 30 minutes on the elliptical. I was surprised by the calories burned in that time. Wow! 358!
I am gonna be busy today, eye appointments, giving my mom highlights, and the gym. That should keep me out of the fridge lol. I hope you all have a wonderful day.

So I am gonna go to the gym. I hate going to the gym. I mean once I am there I work out and feel great. But it's from point A to B... Why can't I just learn to like it?
