Just finished the second week of zero carb. Or maybe I should say the second week of no-sugar, which is honestly still feels surreal to me. Because prior to going Carnivore I would count every sugar-free meal I have had as a small victory. Cravings were so strong and mind consuming, it felt like I could physically touch them. I've tried dozens of times to quit, I was restricting my eating one way or another since I was 11 y.o. So after all that I really didn't believe there was any hope for me to ever stop this, only way I could manage the harm it's doing is through intermittent fasting. So Carnivore diet didn't feel realistic to me at all. If I can't go one day without sugar, how could I ever do a 30-day zero carb challenge? And yet - the cravings left me on the day 1 of Zero carb. It sounds insane, I still can't believe it. Carnivore diet is the only thing that was able to restrain my sugar addiction and it is honestly the reason enough for me to never quit this diet.
