Well, it's been a real struggle, but I am maintaining. I've got an average of 1990 calories per day. However, my weight seems to have plateaued. I would guess that's because I have fallen off my workout routine, but I got back in the saddle again today. I decided maybe the 1 and a half to 2 hour workouts I had been doing were making it less likely I would do it on a regular basis, so I pulled back on the time some. Hope I can keep up this new routine.

Got my workout in early today. Broke through and got up to an hour on the treadmill, and also increased my circuit training by 4 minutes, for a total of 20 minutes. Also did 20 minutes on the bike. Overall, I burned 630 calories burned. It's amazing how fast my body is changing. I just wish it would register in my weight!

Almost at the end of the first week and I am almost meeting the challenge. Got an RDI of 2042 per week, or 102%. I think I can bring that back down the 2% over the next week. I got a bad start due to a trouble spot--my period. Consumed pop tarts and other crap the first few days, and that set me way back. So I'm actually pretty proud to be able to bring it back so close to the average within the same week.

Got my workout in after unexpectedly having to take two days off. The fitness center I use changed hours and is now closed on Sundays, so I took a short walk that day instead. Still, that doesn't provide nearly the caloric burn that my workout does, so I was really bummed when I remembered Monday was Labor Day! Closed again.
Today I did intervals on the treadmill for 45 minutes, for a total of 2.17 miles and 246 calories (I've really been working the incline feature). I also rode the stationary bike for 20 minutes, doing intervals for 6.3 miles and 133 calories burned. Average speed was 19 mph. To complete the workout, I did 16 minutes of circuit training on the all-in-one weight machine. I've been trying to increase the circuit by 3-4 minutes each week. Honestly, I think I owe the weight training for the loss of my double chin and the shrinking tire around my waist. I love it because I can really feel my core heating up.

Got my workout in late, but got it in nonetheless. Now it's time to fire up the grill and reward myself with a strip steak. :)
