Hey buddies!
I've got a super busy day today. I've got the 1st sessioon of our church's first women's conference tonight. I'm glad I got my HIIT cardio done this morning. Woot Woot!
The challenge will be getting my weight lifting in tonight after the conference session. It will be late and I will be hungry...I hope I bring enough snacks. :)
I'm excited because my Army captain brother is coming into town for his R&R. It will be so good to see him. He's always been in my corner in my battle with my weight and I'm looking forward to seeing his reaction. I haven't seen him since our cousin's wedding in December. I'm going to ask my sis-in-law to take a pic of his reaction, lol. Ok folks, let me finish my eggy breakfast and get ready for work.

So my two-a-days had me sleeping like a rock last night! I woke up at 8a when I usually get up at 7:30a. That wouldn't be too bad if I hadn't dragged around my apartment all morning still reeling from a weird dream I had.
We had a great worship night last night at church...I sang and praised until my throat hurt. I came home around 9p. I was contimplating whether I should leave my weight training till this morning. I decided against it...I didn't want another 6:30a morning. Plus, the gym was open for another hour and I had no excuse...I was still amped from a great night of worship. So, I got my lower body workout done last night. Boy, did I strech! I did NOT want to have noodle legs today. I think it helped a lot. I'm just midly sore. I came home and was so beat from the long day and the leg workout I didn't want to make any food. I wanted to have some cereal and call it the night, but I didn't want my blood sugar to be elevated during the night...that's the reason that I like to eat low carb for dinner. So I mustered enough strength to throw some green beans in the microwave and saute some chicken...then I got a little creative and added some cut up eggplant and mushroom with tomato sauce and topped it with cheese. Wow, that was delicious! I've got to submit that as a recipe, because it's too delicious not to share! LOL I'm looking forward to that same dinner tonight.
Today is my off day for working out. I've got choir rehearsal tonight and will just come home and do the Power 90 ab routine...and stretch! Have a great day buddies!

Feeling extra good this morning, I got my AM cardio done and looking forward to weight training after church tonight. :) I was a little late to work today (shh, don't tell anyone) due to a serious stretch routine that I do after a quick 5 min warm up and after my 30 min of cardio...it takes almost as long as the cardio routine, combined. But it always feels amazing and has helped with the soreness from "lifting like a man." :) If you want peep my stretch routine, check it out in my forum post on stretching. I answered a fellow FSer question on the subject and could dare not type it out again...even copying and pasting again would be insane. LOL...ok folks I gotta get to work, it was bad enough that I was 15 min late. Have a great day!

I didn't plan on working out today, but when I got home...I felt like I wanted a little cardio for the first...time...ever! But, I didn't want to go to the gym, so I scanned the On-Demand feature on my TV and found a bunch of workouts there! I found Billy Blanks Jr.'s Cardioke. Yup, you sing while you work out! Can this be any more perfect for me? It was only a small sample (25 min) of the warm up, high intensity and cool down, but it was soooo much fun! So, there I was dancing and singing and working up a serious sweat! :) I finished it off with a pilates ab workout I found on there too. This was a great find and made cable mean so much more to me!
So, that was an unplanned workout, but I'm still going to do my AM cardio and PM weights tomorrow. :) Feeling more awesome as the week goes by and feeling more productive at work too! :) Have a great night buddies!

I said I'd do it...and I did! Here I am reporting day one of "posting when I move." So, I totally forgot to set my alarm to get up, but I got up anyway at 6:45 AM. I thanked God for waking me up at that time and took it as a sign to get moving! So, I went to the gym and got HIIT cardio done...will do weights in the evening while chicken is defrosting. :) I feel great this morning! This is what I've been missing with doing cardio in the morning?!? If I could bottle it, I would, but it still wouldn't feel as great as experiencing it. :) Ok, have an energetic day buddies!
