I put on a pair of dress pant for church this morning and now the lastest size that I have been in I can remove without undoing them. These are a size 20. When I started losing weight the end of July I wore a size 26-24. It feels so good to be finally getting this weight off. Now the only problem is I don't have any more pants that I can borrow. I hate the idea of spending much money on clothes because I still have a few more sizes that I want to lose. My goal is to get into a size 14. Onward and forward!

I don't usually post twice in a day, but I'm so excited so I just had to. A few weeks ago a friend gave me some scrub pants in a size large. They only came up to my thighs when I first got them. Last week I tried them on and they came up to my hips. Today I decided to try them on to see what my progress is. I really wasn't expecting them to fit, but figured they go up a little farther than before. To my delight and surprise they went all the way on!!!! I burst into tears of joy while jumping up and down screaming "Oh my goodness, they fit!!!" They are still just a little too tight to wear to work yet, but it made my day to see that I could actually get them on.

I work a 4 days on then 2 days off schedule at my job. I usually do great on the days I work and then not so great on my 2 days off. As a result I often gain a pound or 2 on my days off.....but not this time! I was determined not to gain. I stuck to it and this time after I had my two days off I actually lost a little weight. YEAH!!! All my hard work is paying off and it is SOOOOO worth it. When I finally get this weight off I am taking a vow to never put it back on again! I have definitly found that the older you get, the harder it is to lose the weight. I have to work twice as hard to take it off than I did years ago when I was trying to lose weight. But I will keep pressing on toward the goal! I will be victorious!!!!!

Okay...a little frustrated today. Have been about the same weight for a week although I am eating under 30 carbs most days, drinking 8 or 9 glasses of water each day and excersing 30 mins each day. I even passed up Italian Cream cake yesterday at work! I thought for sure I would have lost a little. I garuntee if I eat one little carb more than I should I sure gain a pound and then it takes me a week or more to get that same pound back off. UGH!!!
But the good thing is I know I am continuing to lose inches. I can tell by the way my clothes fit. So I think I am going to start recording my inches too. The only one that had been measured since I started to lose weight is my waist. They had checked it at the doctor's office when I first started my diet the end of July and my waist measurement was 49 inches. Last month when they checked it on Aug 26th it was 47. I checked it today and it is now 45.5.
Now I will also start today checking my other measurements:
