Day 2 of Cleanse
This is a catchup post for yesterday. Will post about Day 3 below later.

I gotta say, I definitely feel weaker this cleanse... like empty, but not hungry, if that makes sense. I'm drinking a lot of water as a result, and had some herbal tea yesterday. Tea without milk and sugar is just not fun... an Indian girl needs her chai!

Got a scrub, seaweed wrap, and then some infrared thing that's supposed to release toxins, which was nice. Partly because I love a good sweat. Mostly because it took twice as long as they said it would and ended in an unexpected and lovely massage... score! After that, the day was so beautiful that I did a little strolling. Sprinkles had no line, so I decided to get cupcakes for my fam. No temptation whatsoever to eat one... interesting.

Looked forward to the yummylicious cashew milk all day and it was so satisfying. I really need to learn how to make it myself, could really drink it every day. Savored it tonight, because I knew it was my last sustenance for the day. I realized I never really savor anything. I just shovel in my breakfast and lunch in front of the computer and my dinner in front of the tv. This is teaching me I need to slow it down, taste every bite, and be grateful for it.

This morning's weigh in... pre-cleanse weight. Yuck.

I guess I should be thankful I don't weigh 200 pounds, considering I've been on the see-food diet and have barely been exercising.

Hoping this cleanse kick-starts some good habits. =)

Update:

Day 1 of Cleanse
Not bad so far... mild headache. I'm on juice #4 of 6 and they've been tasty so far:

1. Green - delicious, cucumbery flavor; could drink this every day.
2. Spicy Lemonade - not as spicy or clean tasting as BPC's; still tasty, but I wouldn't drink gallons of this like I would BPC's.
3. Carrot - sweet and yummy, with veggie undertones; could drink this one every day as well.
4. Beet - meh... I love eating beets but like BPC's, there's something irking me about this--perhaps its the ginger, which is odd because I also love ginger... hmmmmm.

No sickly sweet pineapple one like with BPC, thank god. I've been craving these veggies. My juices this evening are as follows:

5. Green - same as morning; looking forward to it.
6. Cashew Milk - can't wait for this one; if it's anywhere near as scrumptious as BPC's, it will be another love affair for sure.

Feeling like a rockstar because I get to my desk this morning and there's an entire pan of gingerbread sitting here, made special by Jess, and I have no desire to eat any of it. I will be dropping this off at my parents' house promptly after work so my dad can go to town. It's his favorite. Also, Steve brought Krispy Kremes and Jess made German Chocolate cake pops, both sitting unmonitored in the kitchen, ripe for the taking. German Chocolate is seriously my most favorite kind of cake ever. None for me thanks, I'm on a cleanse. =) I KNOW I would have had 2 donuts and at least 2 cake pops if I wasn't on this cleanse. Thank god for what little discipline I have.
