My weight has fluctuate as expected. The scale tells me a number but for me it's more about slow progress. I've lost over 4 pounds in two weeks and kept it off. I'm on the pace of 2 pounds a week which is a great accomplishment.
I am dealing with a stressful situation with my aging parents and Covid and the stress is wreaking havoc on my body. I have to keep telling myself I am trying, I am doing my best and this is a long journey.

I lost 3 pounds in my first week. My goal is to take things slow and I know it will slow down from here. I have never weighed over 144 so being back in the 140s is a big victory. Reminding myself daily that I'm doing this for myself and no one else. That is key for me. It's never too late to become who you believe yourself to be.

I hope everyone had a great, relaxing Sunday. If you struggled today, it is okay. Every hour is an opportunity to start new. Try something new: a recipe, hobby, tradition, ritual, etc. Let's love ourselves this week. Now is as good a time as any.
