Ok not sure why the extra weight from pms has not come off but I am guessing working out is adding muscle weight while losing fat...

Ok after a weekend of cookouts I am back. I did pretty well with my eating with only a few really bad things, and I controlled the portion size when I did indulge. Still carrying the PMS weight so will not weigh in until next week.
Anyone want to share any great recipies that are quick, easy and delicious?

Ok I will not be weighing myself this week. I will count my calories and see what my results are in a week and a half. It's PMS time and for me that means 1+ week of additional bloating weight. I don't mean 2 lbs I gain a lot during that time frame and I don't need to get down about that.
I had chick-fil-a for breakfast and I don't hardly ever eat there but I needed to eat and I forgot my oatmeal at home. I am going to have to push myself to wake up an extra 15 minutes early to get in breakfast before going to work. It's the only way to keep myself from making poor choices.

This heat is not helping me with wanting to work out today but I LOVE Zumba and know I will be glad when I am there doing it!

Hi I joined yesterday, June 22nd in hopes of finding support for my weight loss/health goals. I will never be model skinny, my body simply is not made for that, however I do want to get back down to a healthier weight. This weight didn't just jump on me so I know it will not just jump off of me. I am a potato loving, pasta loving woman. So I need to get off of the sugars and white stuff. I am hoping since it's summer and there are lots of fresh fruits and veggies out there that it will help me a lot.
One of my biggest challenges is eating at the right time with having healthy snacks in between. My job keeps me on the road and not sitting in an office where I can go to the kitchen and get what I need. I am in the office for parts of the day but need to focus on getting in breakfast, snack, and lunch on a schedule.
That's what I am feeling that I need to focus on, and creating a schedule.
