so i'm on my rowing machine last night and i realize what i really need. trying to convince wife to buy a big drum so she can pound on it while i row. she's not convinced it's necessary. yet...

not much appetite this morning for some reason. only finished about half of my breakfast, though i (being a good boy) finished all of my milk. waiting to see if i feel more like eating at lunch time.
went to the community theatre meeting last night and was immediately ambushed, many hugs and much shaking of hands. next thing i know i have been elected to a board position. oh, well, in for a penny, in for a pound...

good weekend. went out and did some stuff saturday am, wife & i tried the new flatbread pizza-things at subway. got in two exercise sessions. yesterday it was officially too cold, so stayed home & played mass effect 3. did manage to finally get up to my workout goal of 30 minutes on the machine. meeting tonight with community theatre group about summer production of a midsummer night's dream, gonna audition after a few years of not doing anything (very easy to get burned out in small town community theatre). all in all, feeling great!

well, some downward movement this week. had to happen sooner or later with the calorie deficit i've been running. hitting the rowing machine for 25 minute sessions at least 5 times a week has me feeling better than i've felt in years. blood sugar control is excellent, hoping to cut back meds some more in the next week or so. all in all, an excellent week.

hmmm...
2 more lbs. following diet well, way under my rdi & still gaining weight.
otoh, visible improvement in muscle mass and tone, waistband looser and feeling great.
all in all, still considering it a winning week.
