Still managed some solid progress even if I was overindulging a bit. I need to work on my craving-management habits before slowed progress turns into setbacks, but I'm feeling good about my self-control given the results :)

Wound up dehydrated and exhausted after pushing myself a bit too far trying to keep up with my partner on hiking, so I spent a couple days in the care of my doctor, fully medically compliant with my plan as a result, then spent a few days just at home in bed where I slept more than anything else, so probably underate a lot this week. So, I'm trying to view this past couple weeks as a learning experience about the line between commitment, discipline, and knowing my limits.

Every time I successfully resist a temptation or do my workouts anyway when I don’t feel like it it has this cascading effect on my self-esteem and motivation like if I keep stacking up wins that they’ll push me forward when I feel like Im never going to finish.

Had a series of get togethers this week that made planning my meals difficult, so I wound up eating more than I would've liked in some cases, or things I knew I shouldn't have been eating, so my loss came as a surprise to me! I think I'm regaining a sense of how my hunger truly is and my natural portioning should be, which frankly, I was worried about because I found compliance so hard in the past (though even through all my weight fluctuations I'd never quite been this big).
Thankfully, I had a lot of support when I was feeling a little off the rails this week, between the person I've been seeing and my daughter who has been at home on break, there to remind me to check in (and in the case of my daughter, take my aside a couple times to help me get out of that food zombie headspace) with how I'm felling.
