Finally Friday
Yesterday was just more blather of the same nature as Wed night. I am spent.
I overslept this morning (it was wonderful). I might try to exercise when I get home but we will have a full house with all the guys over.
Tomorrow is a family party, then we are going to see Hobbs & Shaw. Sunday we will be probably getting the house in order. We have been ignoring the app or not home.
Thankful:
A coworker just said I am looking skinny!
Goal:
Fit board on lunch, possible exercise tonight. Enjoy life.
Positive Thoughts:
15 lbs to go until my gastro doc appt, 10/3. I can so do this!

Can I get some more sleep please?!
It was a 4 hour convo and we came to this conclusion. She might be lying but we have to act like she is not. E's dad is going to come up with an excuse to fly her out. I hope she goes.
All the different possibilities were running through my head last night. I got less than 3 hours of sleep. At 4 I gave up trying. At 6 I did 30 mins of yoga.
Tonight I have the house to myself. I already exercised so just laundry & reading. And I will sigh with relief.
Lunch w a co-worker, so no fit board.
Thankful:
DD had poise and strength. N spoke up with an unpopular opinion and stood his ground. E was stoic and calm, but actually used words, and not all of them were jokes. I am proud to call them mine.
Goal:
Get my brain back on straighter.
Positive Thoughts:
We did our best & it is her choice now. Fingers crossed that she escapes unharmed

Hump Day!
It was 4 games of Parcheesi last night, not 3! :-) And I won 2! Well, my sister and I won 2 because we are partners. Credit where credit is due. It was a great time with family.
I met my simple goal yesterday so yay me! Sometimes you need a low bar just for the dopamine release. :-)
Tonight is brainstorming w SIL's friends, DD & her BF (N) about SIL. I don't know what kind of solution we can come up with, but I know it is making her friends feel better.
E and I already exercised, and Subway for dinner before the "meeting". I just got to decide if I want a sandwich and salad or one or the other. Quandaries.
Thankful:
E & I live in the woods. No one wants to live with us.
Goals:
Do my fit board on lunch & stay calm at the "meeting". Most of all, show no doubt. I am not my SIL's or 1 of her friend's favorite people. (understatement of the year). I do not want to get E involved in family drama because he feels he must protect me.
Positive thoughts:
A stressful night cannot derail me. OMAD is my friend. :-)

The alarm company woke us up at 3 am to tell us that the alarm was not communicating well, but it is no big deal, they just have to let us know. AND, I still got up to treadmill because I was lazy last night.
I will put that in the positive column. E stayed in bed, but I did for me. :-)
Tonight is dinner with my parents, and 3 games of Parcheesi. My sister and I are partners against my parents. We play with $1.50, but money no longer changes hands. We just keep track of who is up. Right now they "owe" my sister and I $6.70. We be kicking their butt! It's a lot of fun.

Parcheesi days are so connecting.

Do my fit board on lunch, and actually meet my goal today. :-)

Monday Monday Blah!
It was a very busy weekend. The hike was great with Bill, followed by a wonderful lunch. Later, E & I went to see the Quentin movie and had low cal popcorn and Iced coffee.
Sun we were going to see the extended endgame movie but I got a call from a family friend. There is medium possibility that a family member might be in an abusive relationship. We are having a family meeting about it on Wed, with the family friends who alerted us, to discuss how we can help her. And yes, I know our hands are tied if she won't leave him, confounded by the fact she lives 1,000 miles away.
After that conversation w DD and BF, we helped them clean out their basement and then we went to dinner at Texas Roadhouse.
I had a little of everything and it added up to a lot. It's OK, it was my Spike day. Plus, I decided to do a 43 hour fast until I eat about 3:30 PM Tuesday afternoon. My colitis was bothering me Sun morning. A fast should help me heal and reset.
Thankful:
E is not abusive. I feel for any person who finds themselves loving someone not worthy of their love. Or just being dependent on an abuser. So scary
Goals:
Get a pizza for E. Probably one with olives so I won't want it. :-) Exercise when I get home, and do my fit board on lunch.
Positive thoughts:
I am safe. I am loved. I am loving, with good intentions (E said so).
