I have finally reached the 100lb lost milestone!

I am pretty excited to be this low in weight as I haven't been this low in quite some time. If I make it down to the 220 range, that'll be the lowest I've been since high school. ( I was always heavy in high school, but a year after high school I had gotten into better shape as I thought I might be going into the military. It was short lived D:!)

I am hopeful to reach the 200s before the end of the year, but the next milestone will be the 220s. I'm a fairly tall guy, 6'3", so I do not expect that any lower is realistic or even healthy.

I've been having issues with my back constantly hurting which has prevented me from going to the gym. My work is fairly physical, but I wanted to strength train to build some muscle. So I've purchased a back brace to wear while I do the extra heavy work in the morning at work to give my back a chance to heal. It is a slippery slope wearing a back brace because it can cause your back to weaken, but mine is at the point that it is telling me it needs a break and so I'm going to give that a shot. If it starts feeling better, I may be able to start incorporating exercise sooner!

For now, though, monitoring the food intake is really the only thing I can do. At least that is having its progress.

Well I've had to start really busting it out at work. I work as a PTF Clerk for the USPS, and my main function has always been as secondary mail sorter and running the small office that is only open a couple hours at the local college.

Now that I'm the primary mail sorter, I have to bust out way more mail than I did before, and I am running a much busier on my own that is generally a two man office.

Pretty sure that is helping to contribute to the weight loss, because I am BEAT.

Also seem to be reasonably well back on track with the diet. No excessive eating and macros are under control. I'm splurging a little today as I got a taco seasoning packet and am going to make tacos! The romaine lettuce leaves will act as the taco shell to avoid the excessive carbs.

Still struggling with the back pain, but persevering to keep the system all going.

Still dealing with the Keto flu, but it's not as bad this time around it seems. Not sure if that is weight lost from this week or just the water weight still falling off. I would think the water weight is off by now being it has been a few days since I started a 20 carb or less intake.

I am no longer experiencing the extreme cravings like I once was while on the normal diet, which is part of why I think this diet has been so successful for me, but I am feeling pretty sluggish right now. Had a long, difficult day at work and haven't eaten in about 9 hours, so I should probably snag a quick bite.

I'm only a few pounds away from my 100lbs major-mini goal. That'll put me at about 50lbs down this year, most of which occurred in the first four months. I'd be surprised if I didn't hit it by next weekend, which is what I base my weekly progress on.

I will then buy donuts to share at work and I'll enjoy a big awesome bacon egg and cheese sandwhich with romaine lettuce as a bun. Muahaha.
