Besides my morning coffee, I've given up most drinks (besides water obviously). It was tough at first. I found myself really fidgety and walking back and forth to the kitchen wanting a coke or mt dew or something! lol. It's paid off. I don't feel the need for pop anymore. In fact, I was at my sister in laws the other day and she got me a Pepsi. I didn't even drink half of it. It didn't taste right. I wanted to get the gym yesterday, but my husband didn't get home in time, but I did get my walk in. I feel I have to be really mindful of my diet because old habits are hard to break. Sometimes I find myself getting chips, or cookies, or making a late evening snack and I have to stop myself. One day at a time!

I'm just trying to get in a routine right now. I walk everyday for at least 40 mins. My sister-in-law is a personal trainer and I go to the gym she works at (not as often as I'd like though). She's been helping me out with weight training exercises. I like the treadmill. I'd love to be a runner. I start out small...running a few mins at a time. I want it all now though. I think that's my biggest obstacle. I know by the end of the year if I stay disciplined I'll see results. I just have to stick with it!
