Finally! The scale moved! Down 8 ounces! Woohoo!
After doing some research I figured out what was stalling me: The flavored water I was drinking had Aspartame in it, which is a sweetener that keeps you from being in ketosis. I haven't had it for the past 2 days and now I am losing again! :-)

Well, my Ketone Test Strip came back pink! So, I am in ketosis. What is going on here? Maybe it was just the Atkins shakes that was causing me to stall? I also cut out the flavored water as well... only water in my system for over 24 hours now. Hopefully tomorrow will come a change. :-)

Tomorrow will be the start of my second week in Induction. I have only lost a pound, the scale is staying the same every day (again this morning). I am feeling so frustrated. Taking some good advice from someone, I am heading to the pharmacy to get Ketostrips in hopes that they will prove me right: I feel like I am getting smaller and do not understand why I am not losing weight. I have to be in ketosis. I just don't get it? Maybe week 2 will bring me better luck in the weight department! I was drinking Atkins shakes for 3 days, I am thinking that it kept me out of full ketosis or stalled my weight loss. Stopped drinking them yesterday, hoping to see the scale move again tomorrow.

So, since I am not losing at the rate I had hoped for I am going to take weekly measurements.
Breast: 39"
Under Breast: 34"
Waist: 31"
Hips: 38"
R Thigh: 23 1/4"
L Thigh: 23 1/2"
Wrist: 6"
L Arm: 11"
R Arm: 11"
Butt: 38 1/2"
Let's see if I can get those numbers down a bit!!! :-) Yeeeehawww!

Day 6 of induction and I am only down a pound. I don't know what I am doing wrong? Today I am taking a different approach and cutting out the Atkins shakes in the afternoon. I have had one for the past 3 days and haven't lost an ounce since. Major workout today as well. Why wont my body just cooperate? I am eating a small amount of calories, burning more than I am eating... and still staying the same? I am so lost, it is so hard to lose weight, I never had to before and this is crazy! I will keep going on though, success will but much worth it!
