As usual I did well this week and then the weekend I fell off. I just got a new car on Friday so I will not have as much money to eat out so hopefully this helps me change my habits. I have to focus more of my time and energy on cooking, eating right, working out, and enjoying the other free things around the house. I do love, love, love my new car but the lack of money is going to hurt me. I'll have to learn to be more thrifty until I get a job making more money. Hopefully that comes sooner than later with my upcoming graduation.
In order to save more money I did cancel my gym membership. Some may say this is not the smartest idea but I have not been going anyway. I orginally signed up in order to take the classes but they have sinced canceled the class I enjoyed going to. I hope to take this time to start taking my dog on more walks. He deserves it and so do I :)

Ate like hell yesterday but took my dog on a walk and I lost. I actually enjoyed getting out and walking the dog. I was always afraid to go without my boyfriend because he's a 98 pound rottweiler (not even done growing!) I also live in the city and was worried that if we see someone or another animal he would freak (because he is a dominant dog) and drag me across the street. Though, it seems all the good training has paid off and he does freak out a little with other dogs but as long as they don't get too close it's easy to keep him under control. Also, it was nice to do something that is good for the both of us. It definitely gave me the motivation to get back out and do it again.
I'm in the process at looking at buying a CR-V. My boyfriend and I decided that it would be better to get an SUV now before we have the wedding, kids, etc. So that hopefulyl it is paid off by the time we have any kids (or at least almost paid off). It will be expensive and between the mortage and bills and now a car payment it will take up most of the remainder of my income so I'll have to come up with new things to do for fun that don't cost so much money. The joys of growing up :)

I did pretty good with eating all last week. I woke up on Saturday at 138 and then yesterday things went downhill. I was volunteering at the humane society and I didn't bring a snack so by the time I got home I was famished. I ate a little bit of everything and then my boyfriend ordered chinese and I had a little bit of that. So that explains today's weight.
Right back to eating right today. I know I can do this since I have done it a million times before. I have to add exercise back in. I'm a little stressed right now since finals are this week and next. So hopefully once this is over I'll be able to get back to working out. Other than that I just hope to find enough time to cook some healthy food this week :)

So, I haven't been eating excellent but I've been eating better which in turn is making me feel better. Of course, I am a compulsive scale checker and I have lost 1 pound so far. I'm trying to be excited but all I think is maybe if I didn't gain three last weekend. But whatever, it's all good one step at a time.
I wish I had more time to do all the things I enjoy and that are healthy such as cooking dinner, working out, cleaning! Though, one step at a time. If I do a little bit each day eventually it all gets done. I'm loving my positive feeling of today and hope that I continue these changes which in turn continue this great feeling :)

First day back from the holidays, I'm extremely tired and promising myself that next year I will not waste all my vaca days in the beginning of the year!
I was looking at some pics over the holidays and boy was I skinny and happy. I must get back to that. So here it is my first day back on the horse :)
I have been applying for some new jobs at my current company and am hoping that I get one of them. I graduate in May and hope to start planning the rest of my life after that but I do need a little more money to do all that. I inerviewed outside of the company for quite a few jobs but unfortunately was not called back for any of them. This economy is quite frusturating. I'm trying not to let all of it get to me but by the weight gain I can tell that it is.
I just remember it could always be worse and thankfully it isn't!
