I lost me. I lost the person I wanted to be by the end of the year. I lost all my motivation and I hate it and need to change it. When I started this journey in March my goal was to lose 20 pounds by the end of the year and be under 200 pounds and I kept to that goal, I was watching what I was eating, I was drinking more water, I was walking more and slowly a pound or 2 would slid off and then I would slip a little and not lose anything or gain a pound but I told myself that is ok cause I am working the program. Then the kids moved in with me in July and I lost access to my computer to keep track of what I was eating and my daughter is cooking every night and I'm not eating salads that much anymore and boom the pounds start going back up and I'm making excuses for myself about how I will start over next week. Now its 3 weeks till end of year and I'm up 15 pounds from where I was in March and my goal is nowhere close. I went shopping last night for something to wear to the xmas office party and boy did I get my eyes opened about how I look (I didnt buy anything) and I decided right then and there its time to find myself again. I do not plan on going hard core until after the holidays because I know I will fail and hate myself but I plan on starting to track my food again and drink more water and lose some diet pop and mostly watch what I eat until then and if I lose some weight, great but the pressure will really began on December 29.
