I am so excited!
Got my lipids test back from doctor. Have cut my
cholesterol count by 50%.
So amazing what good food will do for you! Doctor is not even going to put me on statin drugs! a $150.00 a month savings on no drugs. I can buy a lot of healthy food for that money. I need to bring up my good count and lower the tyiclycerides a little more. I am so pumped! Also broke through another pound. I was staying at 223.5 for 10 days, down to 221 this morning. I really don't count a loss unless I get the same number for three days in a row, but it is promising. WE have been praying a miracle, I have NEVER heard of someone lowering their count by 50% in ONE month! God is so good and I am so glad my doctor recommended SB diet.

Lost 14 lbs in the first two weeks of phase 1. Only 1.5 lbs this week. My goal is 3 lbs a week. I have stuck by the plan almost 100%. Have religiously ate 5 times a day. I think I need to cut my portions down. I eat until I am full and have not restricted my portions. The weather here has been cold, have not excersised. We live out in the country and I dislike traveling into town to go excersise. My son is bringing me a treadmill type of machine this week. My dh and I are getting out this week to bike, weather is going to be in the 60's.

Ok I missed the receipe for chocolate cheese cake! I sinned today and took one small bite of an illegal cheese cake cause I just LOVE cheese cake. Where do I get the receipe?

Started the South Beach almost 2 weeks ago, still in phase one.
Have lost almost 14 lbs. Won't expect that kind of loss in the future. Looking for a life style change and then the weight will follow.
