If I don't get a cookie RIGHT NOW I'm going to start a revolution. Well, not really. But I really want cookies. Why? because i don't have any eggs.
My cookies are pretty good. I should figure out their makeup, but they're simply a cup of nut butter, one egg, and a scant half cup of sugar, along with some salt. I will add ground flax seeds to them as well.
I can make some tomorrow, as I will have eggs tomorrow. for now I will simply crave them a great deal.

Still not dieting. Though the last time i did recording of what I ate I discovered that I didn't eat all that much. now that i'm active? we'll see what happens.

Well I sucked at eating today.
I had a cup of tea and a handful of tortilla chips.
I know I should eat more than that, but I am not a big eater and I have days where I just don't feel like going through a bunch of hassle for something I don't want to do anyway.
But enough bellyaching - I'll make a bowl of edamame, at least.
I also need to drink more water. how am I going to drink more water? it's the last thing I want to drink, generally. but everything I like to drink has sugar in it. This is a habit I need to change.

Wednesdays are the day i blow it. I eat gluten, because I'm getting a damn sausage mcmuffin from mcdonalds or else a sausage egg and cheese biscuit sandwich from Tim horton's. Really I should order two, throw the bread away, and just eat the sausage and cheese, maybe with a slice of tomato.
I didn't order orange juice though, figuring I can not feel bad about a teaspoon of sugar in my coffee if i forego the sugarfest that is a glass of orange juice. And ... yeah I ate an entire mango. the whole damn mango. IT WAS SO GOOD. OM NOM NOM NOM. I *love* fruit. I'm completely whackdoodle about fruit. saying no to fruit is going to be really hard.
And I got to thinking today - I have a ton of carbo-loaded stuff in my cupboards. what do I do with it, throw it out? I don't want to. I mean i have a bunch of different kinds of flours for gluten-free baking, but I don't do it very much anyway. but sweeteners! I have sugar, I have honey, I have maple freaking syrup. I was going to use a packet of equal or whatever in my coffee, even though i seriously hate artificial sweeteners, and i read the ingredients - whoops, maltodextrin! can't have that. (Hilarious, after scarfing down a biscuit, but there you go.)
so I think what i will do is I will not buy those carbo-loaded things any more, and let them run their course in my cupboard while being aware that they are indeed carbo-loaded...and if it continues to be a problem then I'll change the plan.
And I need a better plan for breakfast on wednesdays. because gluten is a terrible damn idea and I need to quit doing it.
bought ground turkey and ground beef, as well as a bag of fresh cranberries. I also bought a little thing of plain unsweetened yogurt. Didn't buy cream, since I have cream and milk coming on friday and I still have milk for tea. oh and a jar of olive pate - I think I could duplicate it with a bunch of olives, a sharp knife, and a stick blender, but let's see how I wind up enjoying it before I go on an adventure.
premade vinegarettes have sugar in them. so I'll just mix stuff freehand. I have balsamic, I have olive oil, I have spices, I can whomp something up.
Also: I don't like shrimp any more. I used to. But I no longer do.
