I had a poor start to the week - stuffed by travel and a long, long day spent in front of the computer but I kicked ass this weekend with a weights session, two spin classes and a 5k run. I'm slowly starting to turn this thing around. I will get there and live the life I deserve.

It's times like these when I realise just how screwed up my relationship with food is. I seem to subconciously use food as a reward and a punishment. At times I seem to have an insatiable apetite, constantly thinking I can have this today and 'be good' tomorrow. At times when I'm in chaos I eat as much as I can 'cause I know that soon I'll be on a diet and not able to eat as much as I want. Then, like now, when I'm doing well I get ideas that aren't healhty such as 'why don't I just not eat this meal then I'll loose even more' or 'I could do more exercise then I'd get results quicker'. I need to establish a much more balanced approach to my eating ... but how.
