It's really tough when the scale numbers don't move. I have to remind myself that if I stay consistent, the numbers WILL change! I also need to remind myself that my body needs time to adjust. It was in a weight GAINING mode and I've just done a 90 degree turn on it so it absolutely will take time to adjust and start moving forward in the new direction. It just makes me wonder how much I would have GAINED already if I hadn't made that change when I did. I mean, if I can't drop weight on 1250 calories a day with 4 x a week exercise, IDK how much I'd actually be GAINING if I wasn't paying attention... at this rate, I feel like I'd GAIN weight on 1500 calories a day!! It's VERY frustrating, but I need to remain focused and realize that it's not only the weight issue... it's a health issue. I FEEL BETTER when I'm eating right and exercising!

Did really well yesterday again. Didn't want to go running but it's the only day my running buddy could go so I went... I've been struggling with running lately... maybe it's the heat, maybe it's that I haven't pushed myself when I run with her because she stops to walk and I stop with her when I could run more... not last night. I didn't stop for her and I ran the best I've run in quite some time! It felt GREAT!... like I could run for miles! I love that feeling... that feeling is WHY I RUN... It feels GREAT to have lost 2.2 lbs.
