I'm feeling amazing. I'm not losing pounds because I'm putting on muscle now since I'm doing weight training, but my clothes are fitting differently. I'm so excited. I signed up for the YMCA a few days ago and I got to go today. It was
awesome
I was using everything- some people gave me odd looks. I think I was using some weights wrong, but whatever, I'll get it. I was also bouncing around to music and smiling like a creep, so maybe that's another reason why they were looking at me. I don't know, and don't care. It was fun and exciting and I can't wait to see what the end of next week brings me. Hopefully another 3 pound weight loss! -squee-

Whoo! ALRIGHT! Good bye 180's and hello 170's! I'm so happy and proud of myself! Yay. I've got to admit, I did a little jig in the mirror when I saw those numbers flash on the scale. Cowabunga baby!

To those who are finding yourselves discouraged. Just look at what you're trying to do, and then look at others around you that aren't trying to do anything. You are making yourself stronger not only on the outside, but on the inside too. You will go through mental blows to your self esteem, and pride. You will feel a great amount of
guilt
and
temptations
. All that matters though is that you pick yourself back up in the end, and that you keep pushing- cry, scream, pull your hair out in frustration- but just
keep going
. Because no one can change yourself but you. It is your choice, and you are making the difference in your own life. Y
ou have to believe
in yourself- you know that you can do it. I believe- I have faith that you all can do it. So don't be discouraged, because
you are amazing
in what you've accomplished.
You're trying. That's all that matters.

So this morning- (around 2) after feeling pretty good about myself. I had a pot luck and restrained myself very well, and I did a 15 mile bike ride when I got home. I got into the fridge to put away food and I saw a piece of chicken from Albertsons...I
attacked
it like a ravaged (
starved
) animal. And then- and
THEN!
I ate a piece of cookie dough. Oh how guilty I felt...oh, but how good it tasted...mmh. I know one thing is for sure...I'm going to punish myself for that slip for the rest of this week. No more sweets, and no more chicken till next week.
My restraint slipped for just a moment...
But damn that chicken was good.
Ahh I guess I'll be adding on a few more miles to my bike ride, and more sit ups/crunches/squats/etc. Double sets at double time! Feel the burn. Love the burn.
I hate how one slip can make you feel like you've ruined everything.
