Had a good day today. Back to it although am doing net carbs now. Slowly but surely is the way. I have been indulging alot and it just proves that I cannot eat 'normally' like an average slim person.
In the words of the great Dr, abstinence is the only way to control your cravings.
Fortunately I haven't put much weight on, considering really I haven't been on program since July - I have been lucky. But I know that's just a question of time. Carry on like I was and in 2 years I 'd have been heavier than when I started.
Last night I made a promise to my former fat self, I told her I wouldn't let her down and wouldn't undo all her hard work. MY hard work.

Well , just touching base, busy busy! I am doing well with the whole maintaining thing. If I have a day where I have overdone , I sensible day following it seems to bring things back again. University is exciting! There are loads of really obese trainee nurses though. How do these people think they are going to serve the NHS when their own health is going to have a detrimental effect on their job. I never want to go back there. When I see morbid obesity - it really saddens me.

Well I have been sooo busy all week. I am now officailly a student! I have my card and my jumper! I am taking time out from 'dieting' to just maintain my weight for a bit. I know that this is a bit of a cop out but it also feels right. I have given myelf a 2 lb window - upto 168lbs - if I go over this then I 'll get back on top but for now I am going to see how I do just doing what I want and seeing if I can be sensible. So far so good. All week I have not changed weight - I am also not eating things just because I can - which is the mentality that you normally have when you come off a 'diet' - because I want to be able to stay where I am for a while , so know that I can't just go back to ....... We'll see. Its a learning curve. I know I am a sugar addict - may be I have learnt enough to cope , maybe I haven't but they are my mistakes and I'll deal with them.
