Gosh I've been working so hard at my two jobs. I need to get in the habit of writing down my foods on paper until I can transfer them to the fatsecret. Well I'll just pick up where I left off.

On a good note it was three days to the gym last week. I am also planning on working out again tonight when I'm out. I'm more concerned with keeping that up on a regular basis than the food right now. I just want to start to make it a habit like taking a shower.

Anyway I have to get a good lunch because I slept in because I worked a partial overnight shift due to our first snow storm. So my son and I are going to stay in and play Wii while I switch loads in the washing machine. A mom's life is never dull is it? Always something to do.

Loving my I/Pod Nano Touch I got for my bday. It also has a pedometer on it which I've been trying out. It's awesome to have the music I want to hear in the gym without having to impose on other people. It can be embarassing though when I start bursting out in dance or boxing with my arms to the beat, lol!!!

I feel good. I've been to the gym three days in a row. I have the luxury of having a gym, even though the equipment isn't so great, at my workplace. With my shift work often times I'm working out alone. Right now with my body confidence or lack of it I'm glad this is possible. Tomorrow hopefully my son can show me how to set up the Wii for days I want to get in some extra workout time at home.


I'm still not dieting as far as food. I have been trying to watch what I eat but I'm not being overly strict. I even had cake and a cookie tonight. I'll worry more about that when the exercising gets easier. It actually hasn't been as brutal as I thought it would be.

Tonight was nice my son helped me load in a few songs on my new I/Pod Touch so I had some new music. It also has a pedometer built in so I am trying out that feature. I'll keep you posted.

Working nights tonight. It's been tough these past few months things havent gone well in the relationship department. Now I'm on my own again with my kids. Well really only one of them is left at home the others are off at university.

Anyway I'm hoping to turn a corner here and really start to focus on my health. I really need to lose some weight to free myself from some of the symptoms of carrying to much weight around. Things like shortness of breath, heart burn, stress relief, weakness and stomach issues. Hoping to avoid some of the health risks like diabetes, heart and reduce swelling in legs.

Today I have been doing the food journal and I even managed to get to the gym for 20mins during my shift. Running down there and back should count as a workout in itself. Anyway hopefully some of my buddies will come and watch my progress.
