Well, did better yesterday. BUT didn't make it to the gym-did do 8500 steps- had red wine with dinner-BUT did eat more veggies and said no to muffins. So better is OK for yesterday. Here is day two. Striving for the same steps or more and lots of veggies, etc. Gotta get my water in too. Today I have a 4 hour round trip car ride to see my granddaughter. So, more challenging to get the steps in. But I shall surely try. Here goes!

After a summer of great stress and sadness, I find myself weighing more than I have in 15 years. THAT stresses me out and depresses me. I can't fit any of my clothes! So, as the new school year begins, so do I begin to eat and workout as I used to. Here goes! First goal, get to 140. How? No added sugar (except one super dark chocolate a week), only have wine on gig nights, and eat lots and lots of veggies and protein. Also get my butt to the gym at least 4 times a week. Even if all I do is walk 3 miles in each session. That is a good start. Day 1, here I am!

Getting back on track feels so good! Not perfect on my eating. But doing much better. Loving the herbalife stuff and my 3 miles walks a day. Go me! And all of you!

Feels good to be getting back on track. No workout yesterday. Had to work late. Had wine too. Not tonight. First 2.5 down-the ones I just gained. Now for the hard part-the next 10.

Went to the gym. Didn't get a special coffee. No sugar. No alcohol. Over the calories that I wanted to take in, but overall, better than I had been doing. Here goes day 2.
