up a few ounces. UGH! I have been taking it slow lettin my knee get happier, so hopefully I will be gettin back on track with my running again. went out this morning, wayyyy humid and nasty. unfortunately still no rain. so far this month we have had .11 inches of rain, a record since they started keeping track of those things!
I just keep prayin that the fires will stop, and that everyone around us plays it safe, I do not want to have to worry about that close to me!
Hopefully it will rain someday again, however it looks like this week is a no go for the rain yet again!

oso I got to run again today! YAY! my knees are much better, been icing them and took another 2 days off. my run this morning went pretty well. I wanted to keep running but I made myself stop so I dont hurt myself again! I feel better being back on track. and I have to keep telling myself I have 6 months to get ready for this race, so I need to SLOW DOWN! Its just hard I get determined and I want to push through it all and acomplish it. I have very little patience, I'm tryin to work on that!

UGH! why cant I just do what I am supposed to do and not push myself!?!
There is a reason for things and I just need to realize that. So I started off the C25k 3 weeks ago, but from the begining thought that 3 times a week wasnt enough. I mean there are 4 more days in a week i could be using as well. Well duh theres a reason there are non running days, one would be so that you dont over use the muscles and joints and end up needing a break. well yeah duh, so now I am forced to sit out for a few day (I Hope) until my knee is not angry with me anymore!
Pretty sure its bursitis. So I am now Icing it off and on throughout the day and taking it easy, NOT what I want to be doing!
But I have learned a valuable lesson: Do what the experts say! Do not deviate too much or you will be in trouble, and yeah I know I'm stupid!

I finally saw a change on the scale! Yay!
I have noticed my pants felt better but its still tough to keep it going when you arent seeing a number change also!
I am very proud of myself for my second full week of running. I have been taking my vitamins and fish oil supplements every day like I am supposed to and I think that I truely feel better too. I am glad I have this 5k looming so I will continue to train and get ready, I have 4 other friends doing it with me and I cant let them down.
Heres to the weekend going better. Going to my brother in law's house today, he will be grillin. so yay for protein, hopefully there will be few other temptations there.
