Plateau....
I did my first triathlon yesterday- 2 mile kayak, 8 mile off-road biking, 2-mile uphill run. I finished last. That's not to say I was completely last, as some didn't finish, but of those who finished, I was last (Does that make sense?). I've been eating better in preparation for the race and hope to continue to do so. The race was the most physically exhausting and mentally trying thing I've ever done. It gives me motivation to do better next year, especially since all the beer was gone when I was done.
I signed up for a 5k in 3 weeks, so there's no vacation time for me. I want to look good for my friend's wedding in November. As of right now, I'm the biggest bridesmaid and I don't want to be referred to as "the fat bridesmaid" in the pictures, etc.
My favorite dinner right now is Tofurky beer brats. 1 brat is 235 calories, vegan, and filling. I just top it with some mustard (no bun) and add some cottage cheese as a side, and BAM! Dinner! Woo!
I found a great yoga class nearby. It's called Boost Camp, which combines yoga with cardio for a GREAT workout with excellent stretching.

I went for a bike ride yesterday for the first time since, like, puberty!
I rode about 5 miles along a beautiful bike path along the Mississippi River, and so aside from the exercise, I got to take in the lovely scenery. I also came back sweating more than I do for my cardio at the gym!
I would love to go today, but my seat hurts my butt! I'm going to find a cushy seat since my natural seat isn't so cushy so I can enjoy a ride tomorrow.
I don't know if my scale is broken or if I'm just at a plateau. It keeps saying 188, which is better than gaining, but not as good as losing.
Pants are buy 1 get 1 free at New York and Co, where i get most of my teacher clothes. Don't know if I'll torture myself today by trying on pants, but it is a good deal!
