I have been trying to wean my meat consumption down considerably to about 4-6 ounces a day. I'm fairly sure this helped me break the plateau I was on at 311 lbs. I'm still working on finding a reliable gym partner, but having finally hit my first 50 pound (total) weight loss, I'm more determined than ever. Next short term goal is to lose 10 more and get under 300.

Gaining 1.3 kg a Week
22 October 2015
I began the summer doing okay and got better and better. I finally made the jump to using weight lifting to help accelerate calorie burn and was sticking with it.
Typical night would include 45-60 minutes on the treadmill, followed by the tricep press, the chest press, the bicep curls, the pulldown, the butterfly and finally the leg press. I even managed the max weight of the legpress (405 pounds) with a sprained ankle. I felt like King Kong.
Then I sprained the other ankle before the first was done healing and basically used it as my excuse to not even go to the gym since August. But, last Thursday I went back and had a buddy with me to help motivate me.
I've been back twice and already my legs have stopped aching all the time, my ankles feel great and an ongoing pain in my heal seems to have cleared up. My max weight on some of the machines is higher than I last had logged, I think I just wasn't pushing myself hard enough when I was going alone and now that I have someone to hold my back in place for the pulldowns, I'm doing them correctly.
I haven't been on a scale in months, but my last weigh in from around April was down 25 pounds from my last logged weight here on Fat Secret and I really feel better than I have in a long time. Still getting WAAAAYYYY more carbs on a daily basis than I like, still drinking soda and not getting nearly enough water (325 ounces is a LOT) or supplemental vitamins, but I'm back on track and that's a great thing in my book.
