I'm 54 years old and on this site since 2009. I love hot yoga, running/walking, hiking and pilates. I'm looking for any support and advice on getting that extra 5 to 10 pounds off!
Revised 5/21/19. Not much more to revise except I gained another 5-10 pounds since last year. Focusing on drinking less alcohol beverages. I'm still eating super healthy and exercising the same. I had to stop running due to knee and hip pain. Tried eating more Fiber that didn't work. I'm not cooking or eating as much meat so we'll see what this year brings. My best friend furry friend passed away this year so when I'm ready looking forward to getting another best friend to walk and hike with. I've always had a dog to walk with such a good motivator.
Revised 5/30/18. I'm not making much progress on losing weight. I recently joined a gym so hoping the weight lifting and extra cardio will support my overall effort. Trying to eat more fish and vegetables, super tough when you live with somebody else who wants to eat meat all the time.
Revised 4/5/17. I've been trying to get 15 pounds off for the last 3 years and haven't succeeded so I'm readjusting my goal. No excuses, however the getting older and going through hormonal changes really seem to make is tougher. Focusing on healthy food eliminating toxic white sugar and flour. Following Dannette May and utilizing her expertise where appropriate.
