A few years ago I just did walking for 20 mins. (no dieting) with my platoon. Then it got easier and I got faster. Then I increased my walking time and distance. After a while I noticed a change in my clothes. I then started to realize i'm doing all this hard work what would happen if I watched what I was eating.
I started to see a personal trainer, nutritionist and watched my calories. I lost 40lbs over a course of a year. It was amazing how it really mentally changed my mind as well.
A few years ago I was struck with an illness that knocked me off my feet and it took me a while to recover. Of course I gained my weight back and became depressed over the whole situation. I'm tired of this and want to get back to where I was prior to being sick. Enough excuses!
So call it timing my coworker/gf sent me this website. I like it even more than the one I was using. So we've hooked up as buddies and I'm ready to start. My bf has joined in too!! ****update no more b/f :( *****
I haven't weighed myself yet but I'm guessing I'm 275lbs. ****update new weigh in coming 23Nov2010**** My first goal is to get down to 260lbs. A long term goal would be to get down to 199lbs just to say I'm not two hundred and something! :o)
