I am christian and a soon to be divorced proud mother of 5! I just started school in January to become a Registered Nurse. I have been a type 2 diabetic for about 4 years. I recently lost 20lbs because I was going to have to use insulin.
I just regained 10! I currently take Metformin and Glipizide for the diabetes. I want to get completely off of ALL medication for it. I chose the Atkins diet because I'm a big meat eater and sugar is a problem for my body. I just want to be healthy again!!! God bless you on your journey as well!!!
