I am 53 years old woman and have been over weight so long that I can not remember myself at a decent size.I am also a diabetic in denial.

I used to have an idea weight in my head but now I just want to be healthy and have energy to do anything I want, like zip line in the rain forest. I would really like to lose enough so that I would not be self conscious. I also want to be able to run and play with my grandchildren.

I am doing this with my sister (she is very far away) through this blog and Skype we are going to encourage each other. It will be interesting how I will view this bio after I lose some weight. I will do an update at the end of December(2 1/2 months). It will be interesting to see how I feel then. Maybe this should have been a journal entry not a bio.
