I've struggled with my weight since my first pregnancy, 18 years ago. I've lost weight and I've gained it back, plus some. I've tried a few different diets, but in the end have realized it what you eat, how much you eat and working out that is going to help me lose weight. About a month ago I decided it was time, time to make the change again, for me. I was sick of my clothes being so tight, being uncomfortable in my own skin. I set my initial goal pretty low, something I knew I could achieve. I joined a local biggest loser challenge to help push me, since I'm pretty competitive. And I start a new training on Monday at a training facility with a personal trainer. I log everything I eat and drink (although there were a few days I didn't have time to). Overall, I'm doing great. As I got closer to my goal, I set a new goal, to lose 25 pounds by May 1, 2016, which would put me at 165. I'm staying on track, losing at least 2 pounds a week. The compliments I get from co-workers and friends on my weightloss make me feel amazing and really motivate me to keep going. I love working out, I've been going to the gym 4-5 times a week. And I can't wait for spring so I can hike up some mountains, a passion I discovered this past summer. I can't wait to see how much easier it will be now that I've shed some weight. Losing weight isn't easy at all. It takes commitment, control and being honest to yourself.
