I am a Travel nurse, specializing in Labor & Delivery. Have worked as an RN for 41 years, which makes me REALLY old!

Have been struggeling with my weight all my life. Can't remember a time when I wasn't overweight. Have tried everything to loose weight,
but was never able to make a permanent change prior to this.

This past spring I decided to make a change for the better, a permanent change, and made the decision to have a verticle gastric sleeve. It has to be the best decision I have ever made. To date, I have lost 78 pounds. I am down from a siZe Women's 26-28 to a Misses size 16. I have about 30 more pounds to go, and then maintenance.

I am thrilled, as I know this is a permanent change, for the better. I feel great, have tons of energy (well for a 61 year old woman I have lots of energy) and love the fact that I am feeling so good.
