I am not sure if I am doing the RDI right. It set my calorie intake at 2000. Do I maintain that intake to lose weight or do I try to maintain a lower amount? I am confused. Right now I am maintaining that intake but I am not losing any weight. In fact I gained a couple of pounds. I really could use some help figuring this out.

Thanks,
Renae

Greetings - I would start with 1500 calories daily while watching the percentages of macro nutrients: 40-45% ciples carbs (fruit, veggies, and grains) 30-35% lean protein, and the rest healthy fats. Keep sodium lower than 2800 anf fiber abover 25g. Drink at least 100 ounces water per day, and move about 20-30 minutes a day. YOU WILL LOSE!
