I started this lifestyle change in february. My highest weight was 260 lbs. since then ive lost 13lbs. It's a slow progress but it works for me. I've almost completely cut out bread except for when I eat subway. I've switched from beef meat to turkey meat(which isn't so bad, just kinda dry). I'm always conscience of my calorie intake aswell as sodium bc alot of low calorie foods are high in sodium. I've cut out most processed foods and stick to making everything myself so I am aware of what is going into what I eat. I eat alot of fresh fruits and veggies. Water is my drink of choice. in the last 2 months I've only had 2 cans of soda which is major for me! I havnt had fast food since january and to my amazement I don't even crave it. I go to the gym 4 days a week and just recently I've taken to exercising while watching movies on the days I'm not at the gym. I also contribute my muscle gain to my low weight loss. All in all this is going very well for me.
112.0 kg Lost so far: 5.9 kg.    Still to go: 30.4 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
Losing 0.6 kg a Week

Great Job!! I have made some major changes like you and I started in Jan so far I am down 40 lbs! I have a lot more to loose than you but your on the right track. No matter what happens (in life) don't get discouraged! Best of luck to you on your journey!
