LadiRosselott's Journal, 24 Jan 08

OK, today is a new day and I am starting over and feel great about it!!! My elliptical finally got here (it's in pieces in the basement), so if I am technical enough to get it put together the right way, today will be an amazing start! I had to delete my previous food entries because it was so depressing to see that I was 1000 plus or minus calories above average due to my bad days, for some reason that really bothered me. I think seeing the green down arrow will help a little for some reason. Isn't it silly the little things that motivate us or bring us down? Anyhow, it's a brand new day and I'm very upbeat about it, yesterdays failures are history, and I thought that was something to journal about!!!! Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

OMG...good luck with that eliptical that's in pieces! I got one last month for Xmas, and it took my husband several hours to assemble it! I raised an eyebrow at all the pieces...and then hightailed it out of there!! LOL

I should have too, but no, I thought I do it myself rather than wait for my husband to get home and do it. First thing I did was drop the wrench down into the flywheel, so I had to run to Home Depot to get a strong magnet on a stick. Got home, got the wrench out, but then dropped the next screw I tried to screw into it down into the flywheel as well. Stuck my magnet on a stick down there, broke the head of that off in the flywheel as well. So, I unscrewed everything and took the cover off, can't find the screw or the magnet head. So, now when my husband gets home, not only is the elliptical not put together, it's in worse shape than before he left, and there's lost peices inside of it. I am praying that we can turn it over and shake them out. I am always so dang independent, I should have never tried this!!! Hopefully it will be together by Monday (sooner if I'm lucky and we can find the lose peices)!
