ijustwanttofeelgood's Journal, 28 Feb 18

OK so I have been recording my weight every morning and I must say because of the fact that I went into it with the idea that no matter what happens I am going to document it every single day when I wake up, and thus far I am pleased I can't realistically expect to constantly receive positive results but it is nice to see the changes while they last.
it is also helping me keep focused and to not slip into a state of complacency.
I never used to have a problem keeping focused I was so rigid and self motivated it was crazy I would turn down cake on my birthday and chocolate on Easter.
but now it's different I feel a bit damaged like hitting the top and then going all the way to rock bottom again has tarnished me somehow.
because I'm not as rigid as i once was, I eat the things that I would never dream of eating in my other former discipline.
the only thing that has stayed constant is my work out ethic but I don't even feel that is as strong as it used to be I used to push harder I swear I would work myself to the bone.
Now i am eating what I'm eating and i'm doing what I'm doing and I don't feel frantic about it, I don't know if that is a good or a bad thing.

I think it's a good thing, it sounds like you are making it more a way of life vs. a temporary thing you are obsessed with. I understand, I have yo-yo'd all my life and I went through a time of anorexia. Every time you think about reaching for something unhealthy, think about how good you felt when you were so close to goal weight. Sending love!
