my Day 1 of low carb diet starts today. Except for the morning porridge or toast I want to limit carbs to ideally under 50g /day.

Thank you! I have done it before alyhough it was more focused on replacing carbs with fat. This time round I am adding slot more protein than fat also because of my obsession with body building lol

porridge is good carbs I follow a diabetes low carb diet and porridge is one I'm alloud

Good luck, I’ve lost 29kg in less than a year and it slowed because I’m no longer overweight. We found the recipes by keto connect to help us a lot 👍

I’ve ditched chips or rice in favour of boiled potatoes(need me starch to make a meal complete) but turns out still high in carbs🤔,..I’m never gonna get it 😔

I've been told and it works so far high fat and protein low carbs complex carbs aloud and if need a multi vitamin

Have ur carbs at night if you have to have carbs when u first wake up u are burning fat porridge puts that fire straight out have eggs instead keep the fat burning going all day good luck

Shah just noticed ur comment about bodybuilding have a look at John kiefer carbnite and CBL I’ve been doing it for 8 weeks built muscle and dropped 4inches off my waist it’s amazing and will be right up your street for low carbs all the best

Yeah it’s great I also do fasting once a week boost growth hormone and testosterone, I love the science behind it just makes sense

Cheers Tony, I had a quick read. I am planning to do 6 days of low carb and on the 7th day eat lots of carbs. This is a tip I got from a colleague who is a professional body builder. I didn't know that there's a more structured diet like that. It makes it more appealing now that I know a little bit about the science behind it.

Brilliant that’s pretty much what carbnite is 6days ketogenic low carb then on day 7 straight after training carb up which fires up the thyroid and boom burn fat all week when you go low carb you can’t fail 💪
