Stickin' to it. Mike and I had a few disagreements about how I need to tell him whether or not I can eat at a restaurant...but I don't want the family to have to miss out on eating somewhere. A good example was their Taco Bell meal this week. They just really don't have anything I can eat! I am feeling SOOO much better and even though I may not look skinny yet, I am feeling skinnier. That helps. Here is to 6-7 wks on the program and losing a totaly of 14.5 lbs!

I know Taco Bell is a hard one. My DH wants to eat there every Wednesday after Spanish class. Well it's the only place to eat on our way home. If you have the will power, you can get a modified taco salad (w/o shell). This consists of lettuce, tomato, cheese, sour cream, and your choice of beef, steak, or chicken. They're pretty good. The only weaknesses I have found so far in doing Atkins are my tortillas and beans. I love Mexican food so this is the hardest, but it CAN be done.

Thanks for the hint! I didn't think about the taco salad w/o shell. I never order the taco salad... but next time... I will have a choice
