Holiday weekends are tough to get through, and probably always will be. For me this weekend is a total wash; too many high carb foods to avoid, with family coming over for a barbecue. I'll finish off what I have today; just one serving of a few items; baked beans, potato salad, and a piece of corn on the cob. I just hope I didn't do too much damage to myself. My brother and I split up the cooking duties, which made it easier on everybody; and though I did the seasoning, I allowed him to "Baby the ribs", to their tasty conclusion, of deliciousness. Well done Brother! :-)

Even with your occasional stumbling, your weight is going down, down, down consistently. That is a good thing!

Every one stumbles...the secret is not to fall! You are doing so well and I have all the confidence that you will continue to do so. Sometimes we have to just stop and enjoy the day with our loved ones and it sounds like you did exactly that....ribs, eh? Sound great.

Thanks ladies. I did have an enjoyable day, as my sister came over too, and the weather was fantastic. You are right, I will get back on track, to keep the weight coming off, and to continue my journey towards reaching my goal. :-) My brother did do a great job on the ribs, and chicken, and I have enough confidence in his ability that there was no need to look over his shoulder, except to admire the good job he was doing, from time to time. I guess on the 4th of July, it will be my turn to turn the ribs, but I'll also add some lamb breast to the line-up, along with some bratwurst. :-)

Hey you are my inspiration, I have been so off track lately, yes I know I have had a load of vacations which makes it so tough for me to get back to it....but keep up the awesome work you are doing and be proud.
