Ooof. so, hopped off the wagon for a day. Last day of school before our little semester break, (no exams for seniors :] ) so we had a party in a couple of my classes, and what good's a party without carbs? i need to be able to mess up once without messing up the whole day. it's kind of a bummer, because today was going to be my third weigh day..but we are just going to exercise our buns off today and push it back to friday!
i love this journal...it's like a little buddy talking me back into the diet and the healthy mindset which i love but is hard to follow sometimes.

I have found it hard to slip and not let it ruin my whole day. But we are going to slip once in a while. Just hop back on the wagon. You can do it!

Every day, every meal, every snack, every bite.... is a choice. I ask myself if I really "need" it? Do I "want" it? Will it help me get to my ultimate goals? I am willing to sacrifice losing weight for it? If yes, then I will have "a bite", and walk away. Am I this successful every time,... I wish! But, I do think about it. I really think about the consequences and payoffs. This is a choice and as posted many times here before.... "NOTHING TASTES AS GOOD AS THIN FEELS!" :) You can do it, BABE!

I can relate. And a related comment: I find that planning ahead and deciding what exactly you are going to cheat on helps. Instead of something coming up and cheating try setting a date. This way you won't get into the mindset of well I already cheated once... Like on Valentine's day I'm going to have some of those chocolates...until then I'm going to be really good.

"Failing to plan, is planning to fail". Another quote that keeps me on my toes. ;)
