Excellent weight in post "Cheat-Indulgence-Spike Day".
Yesterday started with a huge breakfast which was in my journal yesterday. It turned out to be a great day.
I had "excess energy out the wazzoo!" yesterday. I did have an energy drink after a my protein shake for lunch, I do that often though. I think this wild energy was from the calories consumed, and I had a burning desire to ride my bike. I had to fight it off until 330 or 4 when it gets below 100.
I took a bike ride at 1600 for 45 minutes. My usual 9 milers out and back. There is a hill in the middle in the form of a big bridge, puts a nice intensity on it. I did some reading about biking last night, and I would like to start training like it makes sense. Same stuff as running, increase by 10%, and one long ride a week. Interesting.
The problem I face here with biking, is space to do it safely. My 9 mile track is a nice side/walk causeway near the house that has multiple bike paths. After that, and I am in the "city" traffic, and the drivers here are "horrible". I think i realized last night I have to simply repeat this track if I want to go long, that or find some bikers nearby to ask.
Anyway, Y'all have a great day.
