Nice weight in today after a weekend of foolishness. 226.2
I dropped 2.4 lbs in a day.
I did a short 10 min. walk last night, and a bike ride yesterday morning. I feel like I want more! More bike rides mainly, to me now they are fun like playing Frisbee, that is to say they are not a chore and dont feel like exercise to me. Sadly my bike path is about 8 miles, which is not really long enough, so traffic dictates how far I will go, in addition to the heat I have to be concerned with.
Yesterday's dinner was baked chicken cacciatore. At least my attempt at it, and it came out awesome. Daughter opened some Ragu to make pizza's for lunch, so I used it, and some crushed tomatoes, onions, garlic, and peppers to make a really good dish. I did sear the chicken 1st in olive oil per the recipe's suggestions, and there was a bit of oiliness to the finished product, but it was delicious! My kids even ate it up, and they are the ones who started the whole idea. Apparently they have expressed concern that we "dont cook food they like anymore". Poor kids.
Back to my routine today, thank goodness.
