As you all know, I didn't get up early this morning and do my run - lightning and all. So, after a big supper, and nodding off at the dinner table, I finally got up the motivation to get moving. Fed the labs, and went in and got my easy 2.0 miles at 11:30 pace done. So far, I am 100% on my training plan, and it's 15 days till showtime! Barring any unforseen circumstances, I don't see anything to be nervous about in the upcoming race. More concerned about the 15K a month afterwards (12% inclines). But, what's the worst that can happen? Never mind; forget I asked that question. :0
DW wants to go to the local Optimist Club for breakfast in the morning. Who am I to pass on sausage and pancakes? Oh, what a tangled web we weave! I'll try to be good. After all, I will run some of it off with my 9.0 mile run on Sunday. Well, anyway, not far from slumberland; here's wishing you all a good night. Pleasant dreams.
