Decided to buckle down and do TONS of exercise before Thursdays meeting. Hard to get motivated though since it is so hot.

Mom is being annoying.

"I know you are doing well and every thing but I doubt 2 ears of corn is allowed on your diet. DOn't you have to portion control at all?"

Don't let it get to you. Sometimes my husband will make comments and I remind him that this is my "diet", not his. In other words, at the end of the day you are accountable for what you eat. You know what you're willing to allow yourself to have and so on. Just do your best and don't overdo it if you stray.

I know it's HARD to not listen to her words and let them get to you. She says one thing and you feel another... I have something that WORKS great and keeps me thinking about myself in a positive way, cuz lets be honest here and say that when someone says something like that it makes you feel like crap and wonder exactally what you are doing and if it's even really worth it and it goes something likes this...If the words that they are saying to you don't LIFT you up, CELEBRATE or PRAISE your hard work, then consider it sabotage and treat it as such. Keep up the GREAT WORK!! Did you get the memo? You're losing weight!!! Yay YOU!!
