Today is my 55th birthday. My husband made a great dinner, specialty only ground meat meatballs. I passed on the whole wheat pasta but I had 1 1/2 ounce italian bread with olive oil dipping sauce. But then, my granddaugter, (5 1/2) made me a birthday cake. I know I shouldn't have but I had a half of piece anyway.
What a no no! A whopping 57.16 carbs today! (31.5 just cake) Maybe I'll do a Zumba tape. Willl that counteract it? I hope so.

Honestly, you did great. Happy birthday! You deserve a piece of cake. Just stick with the plan and you will be fine. This is for life and you need to enjoy yourself now and again.

Happy belated birthday! You're a good Grama! You really did good! Just imagine your self at your 56th birthday. Imagine how great you will look and feel! The old cliche': we didn't get fat overnight, therefore we won't get fit that quickly.
