Good morning folks. Back at work again after coming in last night for a meeting until 2130. It was an interesting meeting watching our leadership have many of the same concerns or issues that we have, and getting just as pissed off.
Yesterday went well. Got a lot of work done at work, went home and ate a chicken sandwich on whole wheat. I found when nuking chicken if you coat it with hot sauce, it kinds of "bakes" it on. The hot sauce reacts somehow in the micro. You need to cover it or it will make a mess, but it comes out pretty tasty.
Yesterday's lunch was at the local chicken stand. Salad and 1/2 a chicken. The chickens in Bahrain are tiny, almost like half Cornish hen, half chicken. They dont use hormones or growth stuff, and the surroundings here are probably not the best for growing chickens. To get a whole chicken that weigh's one kilo is near impossible. In the states I remember 4-6 lb chickens! I need to bring in my scale to weigh it someday.
Today, should be a good day. Not much goin on at work, schoolwork is in good shape, and I feel good!
