I would start following the South Beach guidelines...they really work and are definitely do-able. I am STRONGLY against any type of eating habits that involve starving yourself, it is so uncomfortable and annoying. In fact, I don't believe in dieting, I only believe in changing your eating habits. The SBD does just that. It is just a set of guidelines that helps you adjust your eating habits into more healthy ones. And most importantly out of all benefits, it will help you live longer, have higher self esteem (which puts you in a good mood), and stay off un-needed medicines.
